MP on Crutches but Back at Work after Scooter Accident

HE has a busted foot, wears a giant moon boot and is on crutches, but Ipswich West MP Sean Choat isnCOt letting that stop him representing the people of his electorate at a cracking pace.

Mr Choat came to grief on his 50cc scooter while parking after the Ulysses Club Toy Run on Sunday.

He will be out of his moon boot in six to eight weeks and, after physiotherapy, is already back in his office and out on the road in his trusty ute.

On Tuesday Mr Choat went to a playgroup opening at Fernvale, then on to the Riverlink police beat opening before attending a UQ graduation for eight medical students. Yesterday he was at Ipswich North State School graduation and then onto the PCYC for another function and today he will be going to his mentor Councillor Neil ZabelCOs funeral. …
