DIMUNITIVE bitch Got a Moment completed a rare double when successful in the group 1 Brisbane Cup final at Albion Park.

A fortnight prior, the Di Buxton-owned, Jason Thompson-trained sprinter won the group 1 TAB Melbourne Cup.

Got a Moment is a small greyhound who weighs 24.8 kilograms. She isnCOt the first greyhound to complete that double but she is the first to do it in the one year.

Graeme BateCOs grand performer Kantarn Bale won the Melbourne Cup in 1999 and the Brisbane Cup in 2000, being the only other Melbourne and Brisbane Cup winner in history.

Di Buxton is a regular competitor at Ipswich race meetings.

Got a Moment won her maiden there in December last year.

At the next Saturday night meeting to be run at the Showgrounds (tomorrow week), the Buxton familyCOs Melbourne Cup trophy will be on display.

Why not make a night of it with dinner in Muzzles restaurant? Santa will be there.
