THE axeing of Central Queensland CaprasCO coach John Harbin has had a snowball effect.

Harbin was replaced last week by former NRL player Jason Hetherington in a what was described as a business decision by the club that left many shocked.

None more so than Lionel Harbin, who, in support of his head coach and father, resigned on Sunday from his role as assistant coach, as well as his position as coach of the CQ NRL Bid development 14s team.

C[pounds sterling]I think the way they handled the matter was unprofessional. To hear about it through a rumour and then have to confront your bosses is wrong,C[yen] Lionel said yesterday.

Fellow assistant coaches, Kane Hardy and Rod Dahl also stepped aside on Monday and yesterday respectively in support of John Harbin. …
