Knife Held to woman,COs Throat; Court Told of Man Bashing and Threatening His Ex in Maccas Car Park after Bundling Her into a Car

POLICE say a man held a knife to his ex-partnerCOs throat and bashed her in the McDonaldCOs Goodna car park after she questioned him about drug dealing.

Ipswich Magistrates Court heard the 23-year-old, who cannot be named, had been bailed on other charges when he went to his exCOs house and called her.

The court heard that the man said he was inside her house, and when she returned she discovered he had climbed in through an

open window.

Police will allege he bundled her into a stolen car, driven by an associate, and repeatedly slapped her and then spat in her face.

Police said the woman started

to question the man about his alleged drug dealing and the man became enraged.

When they arrived at McDonaldCOs, the victim said she was going to call police so the man got out of the car, opened the passenger door and threatened the woman with a knife to her throat, the court heard.
