ITaS A awhat to doa question that will have some locals turn into whirling dervishes of indecision come Australia Day.

The dilemma facing those in the community who advocate love, peace and harmony will be about how best they achieve those for themselves and their fellows a through reason and dialogue at the community future forum, or through soaking up the sensual, spiritual sounds of Indian classical musicians.

Both events are scheduled for 6pm on Saturday a and both have their own appeal for residents looking for something other than drinking after the paddling, mullet-chucking and flag-waving are over.

The future forum is a public event called to explore solutions to the problems caused by Byron Bay being overwhelmed and trashed at holiday times.

Byron council has collaborated with local newspapers and BayFM to invite the community to join in a question-and-answer-style meeting, to be chaired by Mick OaRegan. …
