MR. and Mrs. Frank Howell were married in St. Andrewas Presbyterian Church, Grafton. Mrs. Howell was formerly Miss Robyn Sauer of Crown street. She was attended by Miss Odette Barrett and Misses Kim Oldfield and Paula Rice.

THE death occurred suddenly in Murwillumbah on Tuesday night of Mrs. W. G. North, the mother of Mrs. Douglas Gilmore, of Turf street, and eldest sister of Mrs. Ken Wilson, of Oliver street.

WILLIAM Sheehy, of Lower Coldstream was born in Sydney. His parents were Katherine and John Sheehy, and they had a large family: John, Thomas, Patrick, Michael, Joseph, Stephen, James, William and Katherine (now Mrs. Walter Connor). He married Miss Anne Connor, of the Coldstream. He was fond of gardening and fishing, an interesting conversationalist with a spice of humour, and he was a gentleman at heart. He was buried at South Grafton after a service in the Roman Catholic Church at Cowper.

THE death of Mr. Walter Connor has taken away one of the most stable citizens of the Coldstream. …
