FOOTBALL: There have been a few hurdles for the inaugural National Premier League, but CQFC Energy coach Joe Fenech says his team is willing to surmount whatever obstacle is in their way.

With the 2013 draw recently finalised, Fenech said his squad was gearing up to face three challenging teams first up, including 2012 Queensland State League champions Sunshine Coast Fire on March 9, followed by the Northern Fury on March 16 Co a team coached by A-league player Gareth Edds, who will also play for the NPL side.

Both round one and two will be played on CQFCCOs home ground, Rugby Park, before the Energy travel to Brisbane to play 2012 Brisbane Premier League winners, Redlands United. …
