A NAMBOUR man who went on booze and crime bender while on parole will spend the next few months behind bars.

Warren Brian Anthony Jones helped himself to goods from six different shops in January without paying during an alcohol-fuelled stealing spree.

Jones is a member of Nambouras Jones family, four of whom appeared in court in late 2009 on drink-driving charges.

Jones, who was among them, this time pleaded guilty in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court yesterday to six charges of stealing over two weeks.

Solicitor Tim Hishon said alcohol had been his clientas downfall.

aHe doesnat have a great deal of recollection. He was on a drinking binge,a Mr Hishon said.

The court heard that Jonesas stealing spree began on January 3 when he walked out of Myer Maroochydore with a $59.95 Jag polo shirt.

On January 17, he took two pies and a pair of sunglasses from the BP Palms service station at Nambour. …
