PIONEER State High School student Madeline Davidson is getting a head start in the banking industry after securing a two-year school-based traineeship with NAB this year.

Madeline was one of 60 indigenous students across the country to be selected for the traineeship.

The program aims to provide indigenous high school students from Years 10-12 with an opportunity to study a Certificate II in Business Administration while gaining valuable work experience, an income and support from indigenous mentors and NAB colleagues.

Madeline, who spends one day a week working at the Mount Pleasant NAB branch, said she was proud to have been selected to take part in the program.

While Madeline said she wasnCOt sure what she wanted to do once she finished high school she is considering a career in banking and finance. …
