HOCKEY: Dylan Elliot will be the new face around Rockhampton hockey fields this season, having been recently appointed as the Rockhampton Hockey regional coaching director.

Elliot, who has played hockey since the age of six and represented the Queensland Blades, recently relocated to Rockhampton from Bundaberg and has big plans for the sport this season.

Already in the full swing of things, Elliot said he had been training five young star players in preparation for Queensland Hockey team trials this weekend.
