A SINGLE mother killed in a single vehicle crash at Langshaw yesterday was due to celebrate her upcoming wedding with friends and workmates tonight.

Gympie police said her family had asked that her name not be released at this stage.

Shocked and grieving friends said the woman, 40, was to be married in about three weeks.

Her ahensa partya was to be held at the Gympie Golf Club tonight.

Friends said the woman, who has a daughter, 6, was avery well likeda.

aWorkmates are devastated,a one said.

She is believed to have been on her way to work as a ginger packer about 8.30am when she lost control of her car, a Mazda 323 hatchback.

The Maryborough-based Wide Bay Forensic Crash Unit was yesterday investigating the crash.

A nearby resident, among the first on the scene, said he believed the woman was already dead when he got there.

It is believed she lost traction on Eel Creek Rd and crashed into a tree. …
