OLGA Marr hopes it will be a case of fourth time lucky when Toowoomba Regional Council reviews her application to rebuild the Zimms Corner Service Station.

Ms Marr first lodged plans to redevelop her service station with Jondaryan Shire Council in 2007 and has made subsequent applications with Toowoomba Regional Council in 2009, 2011 and earlier this month.

By working through the issues raised by council and Main Roads and modifying her plans, Ms Marr has come up with a proposal that she is confident will get the green light.

C[pounds sterling]The thing we have had to focus on was mainly Main Roads,C[yen] Ms Marr said.

After 12 months of consultation, Ms Marr has put forward a plan to extend the site to allow a driveway further away from the intersection with the Kingsthorpe Haden Rd and restrict entry and exit to only one side of the highway.

The move to have left in, left out only entry and exit options is a risk she is resigned to taking. …
