WHAT began as a six-week European busking tour turned into a whirlwind love story to rival even the most romantic Hollywood films for Rodger Bradshaw.

The former drummer and didgeridoo artist for nationally successful bands Jabiru and Tribal Trance decided to embark on the adventure with Peregian Originals founder Jay Bishoff two years ago.

Touring under the name Yadaki Drums, they brought their unique sound to venues across England.

But their decision to take over a park near the Sidmouth Folk Festival changed Rodgeras life forever.

It led him to his future wife, Charly.

A London school teacher and musician in her own right, Charly was scheduled to perform at the festival and had been captivated by Rodger while watching his set at a local pub.

After her performance a few days later, she went to check out other musical acts and heard Yadaki Drumsa distinctive sound coming from a nearby park. …
