AS THE region prepares for the prospect of a wet Easter break, Toowoomba photographers made the most of the weekendas wild weather and snapped some amazing lightning photographs.

Sunday nightas ferocious storm hit many parts of south-east Queensland after the sun went down and continued well into the night.

Highfields resident Heth Golding captured a spectacular photograph of a super cell before the storm hit.
