FRASER Coast Mayor Gerard OaConnell has submitted his second report card to the region a and it would be difficult to grade his efforts with anything but straight As.

While each of the councillors has made portfolio reports in the 11 months since being elected, the mayor has chosen consecutive 120-day plans as his way to report to the public.

Cr OaConnellas most recent plan began in October and, despite the interruption of floods and tornadoes, he has still found time to get its 52 items either completed or underway.

aIt clearly points out to people that weave got a road map and itas not scattergun, itas very strategic, which Iam a stickler for,a Cr OaConnell said.

aThis is not everything we do but theyare the bigger-ticket items.

aItas not about building a new building or a new swimming pool or a new bridge everyday, itas more about having a strategy and being very methodical . …
