AS A first step towards moving to its permanent new home in Harbour Drive, the Regional Museumas collections have now been moved from storage into the old Salvation Army building in Gordon St.

aThis is another step closer to having the new Regional Museum up and running,a Coffs Harbour Mayor Denise Knight said.

aIam really looking forward to the day when we can officially open the museum to the public in its new home in the Old Court- house on Harbour Drive.

aWhat could be more appropriate than having a museum in one of Coffs Harbouras oldest and most signi- ficant buildings?

aThe site is also ideally located on the main route between the city centre, the Jetty retail and cafe strip and the Fore- shores a a perfect stopping-off point for visitors and locals travelling between these key locations in our city.

aI am absolutely confident that, once fully operating, the new museum will become one of Coffs Harbouras most popu- lar attractions. …
