Springfielda[euro][TM]s in Good Shape; More Residents to Fight Flab When Popular Fitness Challenge Returns

STEPPING on the scales can often be a aclose your eyes and hopea moment, but for a group of dedicated exercisers on Saturday it was good reason to feel optimistic.

It was the final weigh-in for the Healthy Mind Healthy Body challenge, a 12-week fitness and health program run by Springfield Land Corporation marketing director Naren Sinnathamby.

Mr Sinnathamby said the results had been outstanding and the program success ensured its future, with a 24-week challenge to start next month.

Mr Sinnathamby has had his own battle with weight, and had success during the program, shedding 11.5kg from his 133kg frame.

Two of the participants were Brad Cotton and Tracey Rostron, who both lost weight during the challenge. …
