GOLF: Adam ScottCOs Twin Waters Golf Club junior championship win will not go down as his most prestigious victory, but club members remain proud of it nonetheless.

Twenty years before he had his name engraved on the Masters honour board at Augusta National yesterday, Scott was showing signs of his talent as a promising junior member at Twin Waters.

He took out the clubCOs 1993 junior title as a 13-year-old, however there was no telling the lofty heights it would launch him to.

Scott still maintains close contact with the club, last playing at Twin Waters when he visited the Coast over Christmas.

Twin Waters general manager Steve Hutchison said Scott had written a legacy for himself and the club was proud of the part it had played in his development.
