How and how long ago did you guys meet?

Glenn Mossop (lead vocals and guitar), Regan Lethbridge (lead guitar and vocals) and I (David Morgan on bass) met when we were 13 years old and we started to learn music together, 16 years ago. The three of us come from Tauranga and the drummer Dan Chisholm comes from Christchurch. We met in Dunedin at uni- versity. We decided to move to Melbourne in 2006 to pursue music as a career. All the lyrics get written by Glenn; he comes up with the melodies and the way the vocals are delivered. The music is arranged as a group usually.

Your latest single, Evolution, has been very successful so far, on Triple J especially.

Up and down the country radio stations have been adding it to rotation and playing it. That is very exciting. Triple J has been giving it a good run and adding it in high rotation too. …
