There's so much college hoops talk, and frankly, I love the NCAA tournament, too. But I keep an eye on the University of Georgia football, and spring drills are ongoing. A few things I've seen this week:

- Christian LeMay a former five-star recruit out of Charlotte, N.C., isn't impressing so far. He's stuck as the third-string quarterback since Aaron Murray is coming back and Hutson Mason is a solid No. 2.

LeMay went 1 for 11 in a closed scrimmage in windy conditions on Tuesday. Coaches talked about dropped passes, etc., but you have to wonder why his passing stats aren't any better. He was better in Saturday's scrimmage, completing 5 of 11 and one TD. Mason told one writer that the coaches are working on plays that use his running ability, showing that the coaches want him on the field. LeMay has time to get going, of course, but his development bears watching.
