Toowoomba riders: Blake McCarroll, Sheridan Flint, Skye Prasser, David Budden, Taj Bannerman

TOOWOOMBA BMX Club rider Blake McCarroll admits competing on the national stage never gets any easier.

McCarroll is set for his eighth tilt at the BMX National Championships which start in Brisbane from today.

He will compete in the 17-24 menas class against the top riders from across the country on the Sleeman Sports Complexas international standard track.

McCarroll said he knows what to expect but it was still intimidating to race at such a big competition.

aI am a bit nervous. It still gets you a bit,a he said.

McCarroll will be joined by fellow Toowoomba riders Sheridan Flint, Skye Prasser, David Budden and Taj Bannerman as they take advantage of nationals being just up the highway. …
