CONCERNS the timeline for Gympieas flood mitigation study is too short have been put to bed by Gympie Mayor Ron Dyne.

During Monday nightas flood meeting, many business representatives raised concerns about the timeline and Aureconas ability to properly calculate the cost to Gympie businesses in 8-10 weeks by just conducting interviews with business operators.

Nolan Meatsa representative Michael Nolan said larger businesses would need time to collate the flood impact to give an accurate figure of losses to staff and the company.

He said if things were not done properly the report may not be worth the paper it was written on. …
