TOOWOOMBA Raiders put tough results behind them with a 4-1 WomenCOs SEQ Diamond League victory over Ipswich on Saturday night at Toara Park.

Raiders went into the game on the back of two heavy defeats but put a good performance together to secure their first win and initial points of the season.

Nikeesha Hansen scored three goals in the first half, while captain Dani Bishop-Kinlyside slotted the other goal for Raiders to take the three points.

The win was soured somewhat though by the Raiders squad picking up a couple of injuries along with the suspected season-ending knee injury to 2012 Player of the Year Chantal Trapp. …
