THREE of BundabergCOs longest-serving police officers have been recognised in a formal ceremony.

Police gathered at the PCYC in Bundaberg yesterday afternoon for the ceremony, with Acting Assistant Commissioner Ray Pringle presenting the medals.

He said the ceremony provided a wonderful chance to recognise the enormous amount of valuable service.

Bundaberg Superintendent Rowan Bond was given a second clasp to his National Medal Co an award for his service of more than 35 years.

Inspector Kevin Guteridge was awarded the first clasp for his National Medal, recognising his 25 years of service. …
