BASKETBALL: The Subway Warwick Wildcats head to Noosa tonight to play against the top of the table Noosa Cyclones team.

A win this weekend would put the Wildcats on a three-game winning streak, which is a complete turn around from their three-game losing streak that started last seasonas campaign.

The Cyclones are favourites to win this game on their home court after finishing in fifth position in last yearas competition.

Last year the Wildcats were able to beat the Cyclones, however, due to the Wildcats poor start to the season, they still finished one position behind the Cyclones in sixth position a out of 15 teams.

The Cyclones have only made a couple of changes to last yearas line-up, whereas the Wildcats have lost seven players from last yearas squad.

aI believe that the team that we have this year is a better, well-balanced team than last year, however, it isnat as settled at this stage due to lack of games and practice compared to the Noosa line-up,a coach Jeff Clark said. …
