Robert Kerr, 32, of William Street, Gosforth. Found guilty in absence of being drunk and disorderly in Carliol Square, Newcastle, on May 1. Lee Marshall, 32, of Walkerdene House, Walker, Newcastle. Pleaded guilty to, jointly with another, stealing PS9.68-worth of items from Asda. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a PS15 victim surcharge.

Mark Scullion, 25, of Woodlea Road, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead. Pleaded guilty to removing, retaining or disposing of stolen goods, namely spirits, valued PS150, belonging to Bar Beyond, on April 17. Fined PS70, with a PS20 victim surcharge. Lee Jackson, 27, of Hunter House, Walker, Newcastle. Pleaded guilty to keeping a dog while disqualified between October 4 and October 31 2012. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, with a PS15 victim surcharge.

Natalie Corrin, 35, of Westgate Road, Newcastle. Pleaded guilty to stealing a rucksack and contents, valued PS150, on April 21. Fined PS50, with a PS20 victim surcharge.

Daniel Burnett, 27, of Belsay Avenue, South Shields. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Keppel Street, South Shields, on April 6. Fined PS135, with PS85 costs and a PS20 victim surcharge.

Ann Hunter, 61, of Byron Avenue, Boldon Colliery. Pleaded guilty to failing to give the Department for Work and Pensions accurate information of her husband's capital, which affected her entitlement to income support in 2006. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, with PS85 costs.
