The relatives and friends of the late Henry Thomas Davis, of 4 Jackshon Ave, Grafton, are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service to move from Christ Church Cathedral, after a service commencing at 11am, today, for the Grafton Cemetery.

The relatives and friends of the late Miss Margaret Newton Baillie, of Stockyard Creek, are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, to move from the Copmanhurst Presbyterian Church after a service commencing at 1pm, today, for the Copmanhurst Cemetery.

A grandson of the late Thomas Pidcock, who established a saw milling business in Grafton more than 50 years ago, has been appointed to the T. and G. Mutual Life Society as an ordinary Department Representative. He is Julian Charles Pidcock who lives at 16 Bacon St, Grafton.

Mr. Pidcock, who is a single man, has lived in Grafton all his life. He is a member of the Barbarianas Football Club and Yamba Surf Club. …
