PAPISS CISSE will make his return to the big stage with Newcastle United tomorrow at St Mirren.

The No 9 has yet to feature for the Magpies this summer after an ongoing dispute over wearing shirts featuring the club's new sponsor Wonga.

However, Pardew has confirmed he will wear the shirt at St Mirren Park and will play alongside Hatem Ben Arfa, Fabricio Coloccini and Cheick Tiote.

The quartet all missed the 1-0 win at Blackpool after being left behind to work on fitness at the club's Benton base.

Pardew told the Chronicle: "Hatem, Colo, Papiss, Cheick and a few others stayed behind.

"They'll all play at St Mirren, for sure.

"We should have a good side out there for our fans if they want to travel up."

Cisse's absence has been a cause for concern for United fans. But Pardew indicated he was in good shape.

He said: "Papiss has looked really good.

"We've only had one training day with him as a group, and he's looked really well. …
