CHURCH SHOWING MOVIE THAT PROMOTES PROGRAM

First Baptist Fernandina Beach will be showing the free movie "Home Run" at 6 p.m. Sunday. The story centers on pro baseball player Cory Brand (played by TV and film star Scott Elrod), who because of repeated alcohol-related incidents is forced by the team into a rehabilitation program known as Celebrate Recovery - a biblical and balanced program that helps to overcome hurts, hang-ups and habits. It is because of Celebrate Recovery, a program held each Friday evening at First Baptist, interest was created in showing the movie in Fernandina Beach.
