Cats Cannot Keep Leaking Goals like This, Admits O'Shea

JOHN O'Shea admits Sunderland have become a soft touch after the Black Cats leaked another four goals at Swansea City.

After a decent first-half display, the Black Cats undid all their good work as they conceded three times in seven minutes in the second period, before the Swans added a fourth 10 minutes from time.

Sunderland's sixth successive league defeat was also their heaviest of the season, and skipper O'Shea knows they face a huge task to get out of relegation danger.

"We were under no illusions before the game about the position we're in in the league," said O'Shea.

"When you're letting teams score that many goals against you, you know it's going to be a long, hard season. We know where we are in the league and we know what we have to do, we have to win matches.

"There's only ourselves who's going to help us.

"The manager has come in and we have to show him why he wanted to take this job and how we can get out of this position. …
