THE ISS Cleaning Team at Park Beach Plaza and Park Beach HomeBase has teamed up with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance to participate in the "September Challenge".

The Steptember Challenge is a health and wellbeing initiative with a bit of fun added in. Each individual in the team has a target to walk 10,000 steps a day during September.

While each team member's aim is to walk 10,000 steps, each day their target is also to raise as much money as they can as the funds will go directly towards the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

This is the first time the ISS team will be participating in a challenge of this type and if anyone believes they can reach their target it is Cleaning ISS Facility Services.

Supervisor Cheryl Meloni, a member of the cleaning team for 19 years, knows that she and her staff do an exceptional amount of walking throughout Park Beach Plaza and Park Beach HomeBase and is confident that individually they do 10,000 or more steps a day.

"A couple of team members from team a[approximately]Four of Us' did a practice run with their new step counters and counted over 7500 steps in just four hours which is quite amazing," Caroline Bleechmore, marketing manager Park Beach Plaza & HomeBase, said. …
