FROM a feast to a famine. Not that many weeks ago the Bundaberg club had a 10-race program with excess dogs nominated but not gaining a start.

Now this week's seven-race program has only one race with a full field.

Take into account that the Gympie visitors are providing seven dogs between them and it highlights further the lack of depth in local numbers.

It's also very rare not to see some of our Rockhampton cousins in attendance. Let's hope numbers lift in the near future.

Trying to find a winner will be a challenge with a lot of poor form to be sifted through.

Race 1 Maiden 460m: Cambla Boy has had plenty of chances. Doesn't seem to know how to find the winning post but, in this field, Saturday could be his day. Hello Broadcast is the imminent danger.

Race 2 Maiden 460m: One of the five runners in this race will break its maiden status. Close your eyes and play 'pin the tail'. It may help.
