RUGBY LEAGUE: Norths may be going badly this season in the Skills Training Cup Mackay Rugby League premiership, but one thing they can rely on is the loyalty of triple life member Col Hills.

Hills, 56, is the only life member at all three levels of the club - the juniors, seniors and the leagues club.

The leagues club honour was awarded last year after Hills' eight years as a director, and a lengthy playing and coaching career stretching back to the early 80s earned him life memberships of the juniors and seniors.

Norths haven't won a game this season, and with only two remaining including tomorrow's home match with Proserpine at Jack O'Brien Park, could finish the season winless.

That's a stark contrast to last season when the club had one of its best results in decades, eliminated by Moranbah only one match short of the grand final. …
