Balanced Posture Is Key to Good Golf Swing

THIS week I would like to show you a common problem I see from time to time which can lead to poor balance during the downswing.

I believe that in every event, whether it be a sporting event or just sitting up in a chair, we must have good balance to allow our complete body to work evenly together.

So, in picture one I am showing you what a poor set-up is like. Note how my hands are too close to my knees and my head is leaning out too far.

My weight is not on the heels of my feet but instead on the toes. Therefore, during my swing I can lose my balance and also lose my ability to swing through to the target like we need to during impact.

For example, in picture two I am standing correctly with my hands under my chin which is positioned just ahead of my toes. …
