PROMISING Sandy Gallop player Tahlia Condon is eager to defend her Junior Christmas Open title at Churchill this year.

On form this year, she's on target for another strong showing on her home course on December 22.

The multi-talented 15-year-old has reduced her handicap 13 shots to play off six.

She is the current titleholder for the Sandy Gallop Ladies Club Championship (past three years), Ladies Matchplay Championship, Mixed Foursomes and Ladies Foursomes (the past two years).

She added the Jindalee Ladies Club Championship to her impressive collection after winning by a massive 36 shots last weekend.

This weekend, Tahlia is off to the Queensland Champions of champions, being held in conjunction with the Queensland Amateur Championship at Southport.

She will represent Sandy Gallop.

This year she was selected as the reserve for the Brisbane & District Ladies Golf Association Junior Jug team.

She's also been selected to play in the BDGLA Sarah Jane Kenyon Matchplay team later this month at Mt Coolum. …
