BODYBUILDING: Some would argue that natural bodybuilding is not a sport, but Mackay's Zoe-Claire Yaworsky says it requires as much discipline and hard work as any other sport.

Yaworsky is about to make her debut on the world stage, and knows full well what kind of sacrifices have to be made to be the best in the business.

She said she could understand the scepticism as to whether or not natural bodybuilding was a sport, but she was as much an athlete as anyone else.

"It might be hard to define it as a sport because it's so subjective," she said.

"It's not a sport like sprinting is a sport because everyone's running at the same time and the first one over the line is the winner.

"But I think as you're getting into the more professional levels it seems to be much clearer and less subjective."

Yaworsky said while she didn't spend as much time in the gym as people might think, she worked incredibly hard to look the way she does. …
