I HAVE a fear -- call it a phobia if you like -- that the world will one day be overrun by beautiful people.

And while that may at first seem like a good thing to us ordinary-looking people who enjoy looking at beautiful-looking people, you have to ask yourself -- "do I really want to live in a world run by beautiful people?"

They might look good on catwalks or posing seductively for the camera, but I certainly don't want them running the place.

However, I am starting to worry that we might not have much choice.

The problem, as I see it, is that the beautiful people are multiplying faster than flies on a sheep's bum. (An ugly analogy, but I stand by it).

You see, beautiful people tend to hook up with other beautiful people.

And who can blame them? They're beautiful.

Look at Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom. Sure, the union didn't survive, but they were together long enough to have a beautiful child.

And that's all it takes.

He, like other beautiful children, will one day hook up with another beautiful person and produce beautiful offspring.

And there's a fair chance Orlando and Miranda will spit out more beautiful people with their next partners. …
