GONE Too Far continues his education in the I'm A Celeb Slot Only At 32Red.com "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle at Warwick and could be hard to beat.

A bumper winner back in May, after a promising debut behind the potentially top-class Oscar Rock, he made a victorious start over obstacles when winning at Wetherby in early November.

He only won by a couple of lengths that day but was hardly pressured and Alan King has found him a nice opportunity.

Henry Daly has his string in form much earlier in the season than is usually the case and his Keshi Pearl can make a winning debut over obstacles in the TBA Mares' Novices' Hurdle. With Daly's yard going well, she is likely to be fit.

It is also no secret that Charlie Longsdon's team are still banging in the winners, and Dont Take Me Alive faces nothing of the class of Claret Cloak in the Million In Mind/Highflyer 4yo Chase. Merlin's Wish has to be backed in the Solar Signs Handicap Chase at Hexham over what promises to be a gruelling four miles.

Martin Keighley's lightly-raced eight-year-old has already shown a reasonable amount of ability in staying chases at around the threemile mark and could be anything now he is upped to this trip for the first time, as he has not lacked for stamina so far.

Testing ground would only help his cause.

Most Honourable has shown up well on his two starts over obstacles to date and can make it third-time lucky in the Ramside Event Catering Juvenile Maiden Hurdle. Trained by Northumberland handler Michael Smith, Most Honourable shaped encouragingly without getting seriously competitive when fourth on his debut at Perth in late September. …
