Tidy Up Ahead of Christmas Rush; Gardening with Pattie Gilbert

AS THE festive season is quickly closing in on us, it is always a great idea to get as much of your shopping done before the rush starts.

I suggest that if you need to do any tidying up in your garden, it is a great idea to get that job done as soon as possible, so you will not stress about it.

It is always wonderful to have these jobs done so you will be able to enjoy your wonderful workmanship.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned how wonderful hydrangeas were and how I associate them with Christmas decorations.

Now there is a fantastic new selection of hydrangeas with amazing double flowers. They are so beautiful in their amazing selection of colours and are also very easy to grow.

As I was driving down towards the Grafton Bridge to get some hay for my cattle, I passed the Villiers and Pound St roundabout and to my amazement the beautiful "bauhinia corymbosa" is again in flower.

It can be used as a climber or a groundcover. …
