IT'S called the quiet end of Ellenborough St but that won't be the case today when a passionate group of neighbouring business owners throw a street party.

From 5pm to 8pm, 13-19 Ellenborough St will unite and celebrate -- and everyone is invited.

The recently opened store Haus of Gavet, which stocks on-trend menswear and accessories, inspired the idea with music playing out of their shop and filling the footpath with new energy.

"It is so exciting to have this part of Ellenborough St filled with the complementary selection of boutiques, services and cafe celebrating together with a street party," Kylie O'Connell from Obsession Shoes said.

Co-owner Janette Adams said she was thrilled when the shop owners came together with ideas perfectly suited for the celebration.

And it became even more meaningful when new owner, Carly of Klip n Kurl Hair, Nails and Beauty, said they would use the celebration as an opportunity to raise funds for Children's Cancer, a special cause close to her heart. …
