GATESHEAD boss Gary Mills has banned the F word ahead of today's trip to Dartford, writes LEE RYDER.

The Tynesiders manager wants all attentions switched back to getting into the Football Conference play-off zone.

Mills (pictured) took his team away on Thursday night to escape the disappointment of the postponement of the Heed's FA Cup first round replay with Oxford.

He said on the Gateshead offi-cial website: "It's almost 300 miles to Dartford and travelling down on Thursday will allow the players to rest up, train on the Friday and be in great shape for the game rather than making a seven-hour trip the day before.

"After playing Dartford we have games in the FA Trophy and FA Cup and with six league games taking place in midweek when we don't play it's important we pick up another three points.

"We need to forget about the FA Cup for now and be fully switched on.

"We're playing well and in good form and need to maintain the momentum we've built up. …
