TWO teenage males and a woman in her 50s are in the Royal Brisbane Hospital, following several car accidents in Gladstone late last week.

The driver of a car in an accident on the Dawson Hwy near Beecher early Saturday morning, believed to be 19 or 20 years old, was in a critical condition, after being flung from the vehicle, while the passenger was in a stable condition, as of late yesterday afternoon.

Gladstone Police Sergeant Wayne Butcher said three men had been involved in the crash.

Sgt Butcher said the driver lost control of the vehicle, and as it rolled several times, he was thrown through the driver's side window.

The driver and one passenger were flown to the Brisbane hospital, while another passenger was released.

Sgt Butcher said speed and alcohol would be investigated as a cause of the incident.

Another vehicle accident occurred along Gladstone Benaraby Rd, on the Toolooa Bends yesterday morning, the second in the area within four days. …
