AFTER the hectic autumn QBE international series, the idea of a perfect weekend sounds very attractive.

Breakfast would be with my family in Manly, something we did during this year's Lions tour to Australia. It is a wonderful setting and what a way to start off your weekend; enjoying great food while looking out onto one of the iconic beaches of Sydney.

Next stop would be America for lunch on the beach in San Diego -- we do like a good beach! -- as we had a great holiday at Mission Beach. I am a terrible surfer, though. We hired bikes and made the most of wonderful scenery, stopping off for something to eat along the way.

We would, of course, leave room for dinner with friends at one of our favourite places in Leeds, the Pit bar, for the perfect evening.

Sunday morning would start with a trip to West Park Leeds RFC, where my son, Daniel, plays for the Under-13 team. I help out coaching the backs and I really love being involved with the young lads. …
