Sun, sea and sand - there are plenty of destinations that offer all three of these key ingredients for the perfect holiday. However, the southern Moroccan city of Agadir has much more, whether you want to escape for some winter sun or enjoy a cultural holiday. Take a camel ride, explore the souk - the Souk al Had - climb to the ruins of the Agadir Kasbah for a breathtaking view, enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine in one of the cafes along the palm-lined boulevards or chill on a beachfront bar before taking a dip in the sea.

Morocco offers a colourful blend of Arab, Berber, Moorish, European and African influences, which combine to make Agadir a very relaxed and laid-back resort. Yet visitors are also immersed in the bustle, colour and aromas of the real Morocco whether they are exploring the medina or taking in the scent of spices.
