MARTIN Gray insists his Darlington 1883 side is relishing today's trip to Warrington Town - and a chance to test themselves against the Evo-Stik North leaders.

The Quakers are back up to fifth in the table after three successive league wins, punctuated by Wednesday's Doodson Sport Cup defeat to Ossett Town.

They now occupy the last of the play-off positions, 11 points behind Warrington.

Darlington beat The Wire 2-0 at home at the start of the season, and Gray says his players are determined to record a season double over the league leaders, and push themselves back into contention for automatic promotion.

"It's a big, big game, and a good one for us," said Gray. "It was disappointing to go out of the cup last week, but the league's the most important thing for us, that's our top priority. Our form's been great since we beat Blyth Spartans (in the previous round the Doodson Sport Cup), so we're going into it on a high.
