A FULLY fit Jared Borghero believes he has the team to take home the biggest share of Australian rodeo's richest prize.

Borghero, 23, leads the Lacey's TJM team in the four-night $38,000 Great Western Hotel's New Year Showdown starting tonight.

With $30,000 up for grabs in the teams challenge, the seven-team competition fittingly features Australia's leading bull riders.

And Borghero, who is returning from a six-week layoff after a groin injury, has a pair of them in his stable.

Borghero's TJM team features two of Australia's best bull riders in Ben Seeds and last year's New Year's rodeo bull ride winner, Justin Paton.

Throw in the returning Chris McPhee and Borghero was brimming with confidence.

"I know I've definitely got the two best riders in Australia," Borghero said.

"Ben Seeds and Justin Paton, they're one-two in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and I was lucky enough to snap them up. …
