'LIGHT THE PARK' AND PARADE

Friday Night Lights with Santa will light up Heritage Park and be followed by Saturday's Christmas Parade & Festival for Macclenny. Friday Night Lights will also be the next two Fridays, Dec. 13 and 20. The park is on Lowder Street, a block south of U.S. 90. Saturday's festival starts at 10 a.m. on U.S. 90 in downtown and the parade at 6 p.m.

BIZ ASSOCIATION WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

The Beaches Business Association welcomes new members for its meetings on Mondays from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club, 605 Penman Road. Networking starts at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is $8 and various guest speakers are featured. For more call John Cross at (904) 476-0607.

'MOMMY AND ME' AT CHABAD

OP NEUROSURGEON APPOINTED

Neurosurgeon Mark Spatola of Orange Park Neurosurgery and Orange Park Medical Center recently was appointed chairman-elect of the board of directors for ThinkFirst, National Injury Prevention Foundation. He is helping lead the way for local and global education, research and advocacy to prevent brain, spinal cord and traumatic injury.
