WHAT will 2014 hold for marriage within Australia? During the 2013 election campaign Kevin Rudd stated that he would "fast track" same sex marriage, should he be elected.

The old adage is true that the squeaky hinge always gets the most oil. So, the small minority makes sure that this issue appears to be much greater in the community than it really is.

It appears to me that the proponents for same-sex marriage argue for it for two main reasons, both based on equality; financial and discrimination.

They argue that a same sex couple should have the same financial benefits as does a heterosexual couple, and that same sex couples should not be accordingly discriminated against.

It doesn't take a lot of research to discover that the history of the nations around the world, modern psychology, the Bible, and the realm of nature all argue for marriage as being between one man and one woman.

I pose the question, what does God think about our movement toward legalising same sex marriage? …
