It's not always easy to keep your spirits high in January, the days are short and the post-Christmas blues have set in, so Fitness First has a plan to help. Monday 20th January has come to be known as Blue Monday, the day the public at large feel least motivated with many new year's resolutions already broken.

In a recent Fitness First survey, 82% of the public would like to improve their wellbeing as part of their New Year's Resolution, but 45% have given up their fitness resolutions by the end of January. So in an effort to release endorphins and motivate the capital Fitness First will be opening its doors to both members and non-members with a determination to turn it from blue into #redmonday.

Fitness First will be offering complimentary 20-minute Freestyle team sessions throughout the day offering you a variety of disciplines including core and total body workouts. Many of their newly designed gyms will also be revealed with a new brighter red logo heralding a fresh, powerful approach to fitness. …
