St. Augustine Man Sentenced on Porn Charges; He Gets 20 Years in Prison after Pleading No Contest to 15 Counts

Justin Stephen Frazier was sentenced Friday to 20 years in state prison, placed on 15 years sex offender probation and designated a sexual predator.

The 43-year-old St. Augustine man earlier this month pled no contest to 15 counts of possessing child pornography, a second-degree felony, and one count of failure to properly register as a sex offender, a third-degree felony.

Circuit Judge J. Michael Traynor sentenced him to 15 years for possessing child porn and five additional years for failing to register as a sex offender from a prior offense in Duval County.

According to the arrest report, pictures and videos found on Frazier's computer in 2011 involved children, from toddlers to pre-pubescent girls and boys. An investigation into child pornography being downloaded at his home led police to discover he had not registered his residential address and all email accounts with authorities.

Police records indicate he used to live in Duval County but didn't notify police when he moved to St. Augustine.

In 2001 Frazier pleaded guilty to lewd or lascivious battery, a second-degree felony, and to possessing pornographic photos of children, a third-degree felony. …
